Meryem Ibrahim
I believe healing begins when people feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. My goal is to provide a compassionate, non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences, gain insight, and move toward meaningful change at your own pace.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, grief, relationship challenges, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) , DBT, SFT and trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I recognize that every person’s story is unique, and I tailor therapy to meet your individual needs, strengths, values, and goals.
I have experience working with diverse communities, including immigrants and refugees, and I understand the impact that culture, identity, faith and life experiences can have on mental health. Arabic is my first language, and I provide psychotherapy in both Arabic and English to help clients express themselves comfortably in the language they feel most at home using.
Together, we will work to better understand your emotions, identify unhelpful patterns, strengthen coping skills, and build resilience. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for a supportive place to reflect and grow, you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel difficult, but it is also an investment in your well-being. When you are ready, I welcome the opportunity to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing, greater clarity, and a more fulfilling life.

Tim Kahtava
My name is Tim Kahtava, and I am a registered psychotherapist with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and relational challenges. Over the years, I have had the privilege of helping clients develop effective strategies to manage overwhelming emotions, think clearer, and build resilience to face the storms of life. Whether its difficult circumstances, unhelpful thoughts or overwhelming emotions that hinder our ability to fulfill responsibilities or pursue our passions, there are practical and compassionate ways to facilitate relief and growth. Life can be incredibly challenging—unlike physical pain, emotional pain is often overlooked or ignored in the hope that it will disappear. However, issues such as anger, stress, anxiety, low mood, loss, and relationship upheavals are all manageable with professional support. My passion is helping individuals who are struggling with these difficulties. I also welcome those who wish to incorporate their faith as a vital source of strength on their journey. As an empathetic listener, I am committed to facilitating relief, fostering growth, strengthening coping skills, and helping clients realize their desired transformation. While my primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I integrate a variety of strategies including DBT, Solution-Focused techniques, Mindfulness, EMDR, EFT, and Psychodynamic tools, tailored to each individual’s goals. I commend your courage in taking the first step toward seeking support. I believe this is the beginning of feeling better, functioning more effectively, and becoming the best version of yourself.

Ryann Simpson
I’m Ryann Simpson, a Registered Social Worker (RSW) and Therapist. I offer virtual and telephone therapy to individual adults (18+), and couples in Ontario. I enjoy exploring how we process, what shapes us, behavioural patterns, and how best to understand and work with them. I approach clients with curiosity, a desire to understand, and a focus on what resonates for them.
I believe therapy should offer more than a good listener. It should also provide you with real insight, tools, and strategies you can work with. The clients I work with often want a connection that feels right, and to be able to take something away. Whether that’s understanding why you keep repeating the same pattern, or learning how to take tangible steps toward where you want to be.
Clients I work with often describe themselves as self-aware, intuitive, intellectual, and emotionally attuned. I often work with individuals who seem to have things together on the outside, but are struggling internally with anxiety, overwhelm, self-criticism and other challenges. These individuals often want to understand themselves deeper, and what influences their habits, decisions, and relationships.
I specialize with clients navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, people pleasing, perfectionism, ADHD, self-esteem concerns, and major life transitions. I also help clients work through stress and burnout, boundary development and communication challenges, executive functioning difficulties, and patterns of overthinking so they can build healthier relationships with themselves and others. I often work with those who consider themselves deep thinkers & feelers, as well as those who consider themselves highly sensitive persons.
If this resonates with you, feel free to book in for a free consultation with myself to learn if we are a good fit, and discuss any questions about my therapy approach you may have
